I didnt bother watching.. I usaully do, but the winners were so obvious, I guessed most of them.

Actor: Forest Whitaker
Best Picture
Either babel or Departed
Best director: Departed
Best Screenplay: Babel, Sunshine, or The Queen
Best Costume: POC (Pirates)
Best Visual effects: POC
Best cinemagraphy: Pans Labryinth or Marie Antionette.

At least Ennio Morricone finally got an Oscar. He's probably the second best film composer ever, after John Williams.

I'd say Howard Shore and Danny Elfman are tied for third after Ennio Morricone. Although I haven't really loved any Howard Shore scores other than LotR trilogy.
