They have permission from Bungie, and I believe you need to email the admins about your account thing. I'm not too sure on what you should confirm with them exactly in order to get the sponsor tag so pm them.

I really don't mind so much. I'm just glad I helped them out a bit, and that I can watch the Codex in Glorious DVD perfection whenever I feel the need.

I think that would be sweet if they sold The Codex on DvD. Since all my friends are to lazy to download the whole series it would be nice to show it to them on DvD. It would also bring in a lot of money for you guys. Just a suggestion but if u need some brownie points you could challenge them to a Humpday. I know some clans that did that so they could get on Bungie's good side for various reasons. If you do plan on doing that and need some help playing them I am pretty good at Halo 2.

Well, they did make a DVD with a limited run for those who donated funds. If you donated $50 or more you got a signed copy. I'm not sure when they stopped doing it, but it was only for a few months, if I can remember right.

Eh, like someone above me I too have the DVD but am not listed as a sponsor. Nerrolken didn't even respond to my email a while back... sad.gif

But enough of that. No more Codex DVDs (unless they do a boxed set! OMG!). Find someone with a copy.

Yea it was quite clever how they were "selling" them too. They mentioned they were like gifts for sponsorship so it was all good. However, quick question, will there be similar thing with the DVD for the Heretic?

Soundtrack, what?

What they were doing was walking the line, as it were, and they aren't willing to go there again.

Because they're more popular, they don't want to risk Bungie and Microsoft going nuts.

No the soundtrack is fine since they made their own music. I believe they're still selling soundtracks no? Or rather, free gifts a cause de sponsorships.

Aughhh... people just don't understand. The original thing they did was never legal anyways, it's just they were more "underground."

As such, nothing more will happen unless Edgeworks gets special goodies from Microsoft. FIN.

I don't suppose somebody could burn me a copy of the DVD? And I don't suppose anyone has put Heretic on DVD?
I need these on DVD, so I can watch them on the TV without having to strain my eyes watching those tiny little .movs on my computer.

What's on the DVD, anyway? Just the shows, or are there Special Features, audio commentaries?

Somebody help me out?
