What do you guys think? I'm interested in starting to write reviews again given the number of movies I've seen recently. Also curious sharing my music as well...

Yes, very much so. I have a couple of reviews written that I couldn't publish since Vox was gone.

Although I will probably not bother putting those up anymore since they're really old now. But I have been watching movies like crazy lately and with plenty of time in my day typically, I can write some new ones!

Hmm... Interesting notion...

Let me ask you this: HOW would you resurrect it? Exactly as it was, or what changes would you make? I think many authors were intimidated by the long-form reviews, would you make shorter reviews the norm? Or rather than one big block of text, have a few sentences each in categories like "writing", "music", "acting" etc? Any other ideas?

See now that's something...

Maybe have a few standard categories for people to fill out and then add their own if needed. In each category maybe have them say, "5/5" or "2/5" and then give a final statement with their overall score. If this can't be done automatically, then manually should work just fine. Standardizing the reviews will probably allow people to see structure, since each review hasn't had that.

Although this does have its drawbacks, however, I believe that this could be the best form.

That is how I wrote my game reviews. I would give a score for all its elements and then one overall score at the end, but all my reviews were rather shorter than they were supposed to be, if I remember correctly.

Should also get into this. I don't wanna fight off Ms. Fry-Pan-and-Supa-MAC-wielding-God-modding-word-I-can't-say-for-fear-of-being-ripped-to-f(bleep)ing-shreds by myself.
