Small update to the parts list. The lab finished reviewing my specs and have told me that the two 1TB drives in RAID1 that I selected are physically too big for the case, so have to go down to two 750GB drives in RAID1. Probably will still never fill that so just as good since they are faster than the 1TB drives.

you said forwarded to accounting... like the department of your workplace or something? lol... i'm more confused than you.

Also why would they offer that option if it's not physically possible... I didn't think 2.5 inch 1TB drives existed anyway, that's kind of crazy, or are they the slim 3.5 inch ones? >.<

From their sales dept to their accounting. I wanted to split it onto two credit cards and I had to call them after work to do that, just after the accounting people left.

The hard drives are just listed under Hard Drive 1-3, I had assumed what you had that if it was there and it didn't give an error when selecting both that it would be no problem. Apparently not haha. 3/4 the space but from 5200rpm to 7200rpm and 8MB cache to 16MB cache for $25 less is a good trade of to me, will still be a long time before I even come close to filling that 750GB. By then they should have made the TB drives small enough and wont be a problem replacing them since th OS will be on the 64GB SSD.

Edit: And while I was looking up the differences I just noticed that there is a warning on a page I hadn't looked at, or at least very well. "Due to physical size limitation only a single 1TB drive can be installed per system."

well even if they had a warning, still shouldn't have been able to let you pick it. but interesting stuff though and yes those increased HDD specs would be nice.

My computer has been completed, it is just waiting in queue for integration(windows and drivers) and testing, then it is all set to be shipped. Estimated ship date is still the 16th though, but I know its progress so I'm content for now haha.

Emailed my sales rep yesterday about seeing if the ship date could be moved up since its pretty ridiculous to wait 3 weeks(from his last email) for windows and drivers to be installed and have it all tested. Got an email back from him about an hour ago saying he asked the lab so try to ship it sooner and they said they should. So they are going to try to ship it this week, and if not this week the beginning of next week!
