So I was thinking back to the good old days where I had about five songs and an ass load of Halo cutscenes, and made Halo Music Videos out of them (not my proudest moment), and all I had was Windows Movie Maker. Now I have Adobe Premier(e?) Elements (Good?) and considered using some more, better, music to make some more, better, Halo Music Videos. And also to test my own editing skills...partially for my own lulz and curiosity. So then I tried to find the Halo Cutscenes. I managed to find a decent one of Halo Wars in torrent form, but that was it. All the other Halo cutscenes have been shooped into image files, meaning I'd need to play them through VLC/DVD player and go through menus, then rip the videos and so forth. I remember HBO (Not the guys that made Sopranos, Pacific, Dead Wood) had a awesome library of H 1, 2, 3 and ODST. Unfortunately, I have to download them ALL individually, and over Google Chrome/Firefox, which seems to take ages and occasionally times out because it's an internet surfer program.

To sum all this nerdiness into a single question, does anyone know of a torrent/torrents that contain, in any form of video format (pref .avi) the Halo cutscenes from 1, 2, 3 and ODST?

Edit: *Eye twitches* And also all the trailers for the games....plz...

HBO has all of the cutscenes. Best way to get 'em.

I can't find any torrents but you can do it this way instead:
1. install jdownloader
2. copy all rapidshare links from here:
http://tehparadox.com/forum/f76/halo-1-hd-...enes-pc-564150/
http://tehparadox.com/forum/f76/halo-3-hd-cutscenes-567378/
http://tehparadox.com/forum/f76/halo-3-ods...tscenes-568752/
http://tehparadox.com/forum/f76/halo-wars-...tscenes-549125/

3. paste it into jdownloader (then select all, right-click and merge into one package)

This will take a long time to download (probably several days) but at least it's automatic so you won't have to pick them off one by one from HBO. Just leave your comp on while you sleep.

Thank Zukan. The laptop is usually on all the time anway, what with having to 'legally acquire' Day Break, which was harder to find than he lost city of Atlantis....in SPACE!

Good man! What version do you have? 7 or 8?
Premier-e is really good, works well, does a surprising amount of stuff and remains quite simple to use. I use it for all my editing and projects wink.gif
The only draw-back is it's not easy to customize a full DVD menu. However, I have Adobe Encore to do that.

7 is what I have and it's definitely my favorite editing programme. Even beating Final Cut Pro.

Have a little play about with it even if you have nothing to edit. It's worth checking out the settings. There's a lot more on it than first meets the eye wink.gif
