As I recall from Acon 2006 with Nerrolken, he said, "We don't have any hidden higher resolution videos". But that was from like 06 os I dunno.

What I mean is the ones that were on the DVDs, not some super-magic-proof-of-jesus-high resolution.

We've got videos at higher bitrates (more detailed images), but not higher resolution. As for the problem, it's not so much the videos themselves as it is getting them to you. Bandwidth, hosting space, etc. I've actually got a few ideas, though... Let me think a while... wink.gif

That's long enough. Hehehe

You could always chuck them up on Megaupload, or Rapidshit. And I think it's free to upload stuff but only a certain amount.

Unfortunately, I don't think my internet would be able to cope with a high quality video download. I have already used up my monthly broadband quota as it is.

I'd suggest X-Net, where you simply pay for how much bandwidth you use ($1NZ per GB), but you have to pay a flat fee of $60 in the beginning. Although Telec*** currently have a deal where a flat fee of $70, with all you can eat bandwidth, no payage. Only problem is the download/upload are pretty damn slow until about 9PM...in which they will still be slow because everyone will be on at once.

Also...how much bandwidth do you get? It's only the ninth!

I believe with his plan it is unlimited. I think he has two plans in fact.

I get 10GB of 'download' before the internet returns to dial-up speed. Unfortunately, a download constitutes every web page I open, gaming over XBOX Live and of course the viewing of images / videos. The internet resets itself on the 13th of each month; presumably because that was when it was first used.

At least this system is better than the original one. For an extra $10 a month, the overall usage was improved from 2GB to 10GB.

I used to be on the same plan. Uploading also counted (Think it still does), which raped us badly cause my brother was always uploading useless shit onto Youtube. Which net provider are you with?

Hmm....they should still be having that deal with unlimited bandwidth for $70. It's slower than what you've probably already got, but when you're talking about Youtube, normal forums and so forth, it won't cause much of a difference. Unless you use torrents. In which case you will definitely note the differences in speed. Slingshot once had a good deal, and the net was fast...but the bandwidth allowance was fecking tiny. Only 3g.

As bad as they can be, a cable company would be better...(or fios or something.)
