I considered playing Reach for a bit... but I just don't fancy it.
Wonder if I've gone off the FPS genre actually...

I seem to have done so. I was playing Bioshock 2 the other day, and after a while, no matter how cool the game was I just couldn't get into that much. I seem to need to be able to see my character, have him/her talk and be able to climb walls (Interestingly, Mirrors Edge I don't seem to have a problem with, or F.E.A.R. 2).

I'm not sure why but FEAR 2 is still my favorite FPS game I've ever played. I think I had a little too much fun with the "reflex" (bullet time) mode in it. And the giant Armachan battle walker, of course.

Pff, ten thousand posts...if only I could care about such a thing. For caring about ones' post count is as vain as a vein wanting to pump sterling silver through the body for its own lulz. And we all know how Lulz affects the world. Just look at World War 2. Did you all honestly think Hitler tried to exterminate the Jews because he wanted to crate a master race that even he looked nothing like? I SAY BALLS TO THAT! BALLS TO ALL OF THAT! Balls to so mucyh of that, that this pretentious post has nothing whatsoever in the effects of the global war economy. That's right, I f**king said it, and not when referencing MGS4. Imaginitive ten thousand post mark? I think not....

And also, I demand everyone on the forum to sig-quote that. All of you. Especially you, Geo. You British guy you.

I thought it was an alright game (from what I remember). I remember I didn't like it as much as the first because it didn't have that many uber scary moments.

You are obviously getting your F.E.A.R.s mixed up. 1 had about a dozen and a half scattered throughout the entire game. 2 had a flying fudgeload, and ones that were actually scary. The combat, AI...everything was a million times better. I thought it was the scariest FPS I've played since......ever. The entire school level, as well as the last level, were nothing but hour long "OHSHITOHSHITOHSHIT!".

I remember a few things at the begining scared the shiz nit out of me, but the rest of the game was just action and predictable scary moments.

Still certain you're thinking of the first game. The last half of that game (Save the breaking of into Alma's house...lol) was nothing but the highest brown factor since the second Silent Hill. And just as unpredictable in the whole "Oh...what....ARRGH! MY FACE! WHERE THE-" "Oliver...are you okay?" "NO! FUDGE OFF!"

So I had a couple of friends over last night, and first we played some Black Ops multiplayer, then we switched to Reach. Man, I forgot that this game was this fun. There was one time when we had indestructible vehicles and all my friends were in one of the helicopters.
"GET HIM LODEN!"
*snipes Loden*
"GET HIM IVAN!"
*snipes Ivan*
"IM OUTA HERE!" even though i couldnt actually kill him......

So it's not really new news, but did anyone know about how Rooster Teeth has a thing called, Achievement Horse? It is played on Halo Reach, all on Forge World. I started playing it and it's probably one of my reasons I am still playing Reach. It's actually a lot of fun, they are in their 10th week of it. Here is a link to it: Achievement Horse
