Pff, ten thousand posts...if only I could care about such a thing. For caring about ones' post count is as vain as a vein wanting to pump sterling silver through the body for its own lulz. And we all know how Lulz affects the world. Just look at World War 2. Did you all honestly think Hitler tried to exterminate the Jews because he wanted to crate a master race that even he looked nothing like? I SAY BALLS TO THAT! BALLS TO ALL OF THAT! Balls to so mucyh of that, that this pretentious post has nothing whatsoever in the effects of the global war economy. That's right, I f**king said it, and not when referencing MGS4. Imaginitive ten thousand post mark? I think not....

And also, I demand everyone on the forum to sig-quote that. All of you. Especially you, Geo. You British guy you.

It's not that fantastic. Not worth the graphic amounts of controversy it got....

Yeah after reading it, I think it was more a book to be appreciated at its time...it's hard to take a lot out of it from my own perspective imo.

At the moment, I'm reading:

Ice Station - Matthew Reilly

Slowly reading this through Uni...I'm probably the only person I know who hadn't read it in their teenage years lol

After I get through it (which will be a while) I'm planning to start on the two books by Nick Cave. The first, and quite acclaimed 'And the Ass saw the Angel', and then 'The Death of Bunny Munro'.

Reilly rocks! Have you read Hover Car Racer? Wish that was made into a movie. Only less kiddish as Speed Racer.

Stephen King is one of those authors I avoid, for the same reason the only horror movies I go to are the cheesy ones.

Things Fall Apart - Chinua Achebe. Reading it for a book report, but surpisingly good. Might end up rereading it when I don't have the pressure of a due date.

Kickass fact of the day. During Operation Desert Storm, US tank commanders attached loudspeakers to their vehicles and blared heavy metal music to frighten the enemy.

I aim to read the whole Dark Tower series while I'm down in the Lower 48 for my sisters graduation. 15 days. 7 books. HELL YEAH.

I'm not currently reading it, but I recently read John Dies at the End by David Wong. If you haven't read it, I definitely recommend it.

Should also get into this. I don't wanna fight off Ms. Fry-Pan-and-Supa-MAC-wielding-God-modding-word-I-can't-say-for-fear-of-being-ripped-to-f(bleep)ing-shreds by myself.
